THE STARS SERIES AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM EMPOWERS ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BY ENGAGING THEM IN A VARIETY OF SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL AND LEARNING (SEL), CONFIDENCE AND SOCIAL SKILLS. ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY PARTNERING WITH ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, MIDDLE SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGAINZATIONS. OUR SUPERSTARS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (SSLA) PROGRAM IS A HIGH-IMPACT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS THAT FOCUSES ON SPORTS, HEALTH and WELLNESS; COLLEGE ACCESS and CAREER READINESS; AND LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. SSLA KICKS OFF WITH A SIX-WEEK SUMMER INTENSIVE, AND CONTINUES INTO THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS, A MENTORING PROGRAM, A PEER COACHING PROGRAM, AND COLLEGE and CAREER EXPLORATION (WHICH INCLUDES A COLLEGE TOUR).
